The first with tapering double-edged triple-fullered blade struck with a series of marks on one side, iron hilt formed of substantial horizontally recurved quillons each of octagonal section with large ball finial almost touching the stem of the other quillon, leather-covered grip, and fluted pommel; the second with one-piece iron head with rounded hammer-face with spirally fluted stem, square block incised with lines, and down-curved beak-shaped rear-fluke, cylindrical iron haft with disc-guard above the grip, leather-covered grip (covering incomplete), and rounded pommel
