With chiselled twist barrel with traces of gold-damascened decoration on the raised panels towards the breech, long gold-damascened tang also incorporating the rear-sight, gold-damascened lock, well figured Circassian walnut three-quarter stock decorated with applied panels of nielloed silver flowers, large domed pommel decorated en suite, gold-damascened trigger-plate with button-trigger, two nielloed silver barrel-bands, and nielloed silver fore-end cap; together with AN OTTOMAN 25-BORE SILVER-MOUNTS FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOL, EARLY 19TH CENTURY, with two-stage swamped barrel profusely decorated with heavily gold-damascened foliage and inscriptions, the octagonal breech-section struck with a tughra, tang decorated en suite, bright rounded lock with raised priming-pan and struck with a further tughra, full stock inlaid with silver stars and dots, and with a mother-of-pearl crescent moon on the underside, scroll engraved silver mounts, and later bone-tipped ramrod
