A PAIR OF 18-BORE SILVER-MOUNTED FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOLS
POSSIBLY BALKAN, SIGNED LONDON, LATE 18TH CENTURY
With swamped barrels each signed 'LONDON' and engraved with scrollwork at the breech, engraved grooved tangs, rounded bolted locks, the priming-pans each with water-drains, walnut three-quarter stocks, silver mounts including pierced trophy of arms side-plates and spurred pommels each with grotesque mask cap, shaped silver escutcheons, and later ramrods (some corrosion marking to iron parts, some discolouration and slight wear to silver parts)
