With two-stage sighted barrels each with turned girdle, the octagonal breech-sections each with brass-inlaid scrollwork, engraved brass-covered tangs, flat locks each engraved with scrollwork inhabited by rabbits and hounds, moulded figured walnut full stocks, brass mounts including pierced side-plates each engraved with a vignette of a classical warrior and cast and chased spurred pommels, horn fore-end caps, and later horn-tipped ramrods (one fore-end repaired)
