With swamped barrel signed on the short sighting-flat, later front- and rear-sights, relined touch-hole, scroll engraved tang, Balkan scroll engraved flat bevelled lock (a working replacement), walnut full stock carved in relief with a shell behind the barrel-tang, silver mounts including spurred pommel with grotesque-mask cap, shaped silver escutcheon, and iron-tipped ramrod, London proof marks (cracked beneath the lock, iron parts discoloured)
