With three-stage swamped sighted barrels each engraved with scrollwork and signed at the breech, scroll engraved iron tangs, border engraved signed rounded locks, figured walnut full stocks each carved in relief with a shell behind the barrel-tang, engraved iron mounts including spurred-pommels each with silver portrait-mask pommel-caps, pierced silver dragon side-plates, shaped silver escutcheons each engraved with the crowned crest and motto of the Clan Gordon, and later wooden ramrods (some wear and light corrosion marking to iron parts, minor defects to stocks)
