With browned twist barrels signed in full and marked 'PATENT NO. 3216' on the matt rib, slighted raised bead fore-sight, rear-sight of one standing and two folding leaves graduated to 200 yards and each with a platinum-inlaid centre-line, border and scroll engraved case-hardened action and signed rebounding locks, the former with carved fences, figured 14¼in. (36.2cm.) pistol-grip stock with chequered grip and fore-end, raised cheek-piece, border and scroll engraved iron mounts including pistol-grip cap with hinged trap-cover, and much original faded finish throughout, London black powder proof marks, in original brass-cornered oak and leather fitted case lined in pigskin with accessories including iron bullet-mould for a conical bullet serial numbered to the rifle and marked 'AH', and brass Hawksley 360 capper/de-capper, the lid with Alexander Henry trade label, the exterior with remains of luggage storage labels and named 'PERCY H. COOPER' (case-straps missing, lock at fault)
