Decorated with oval shell or foliate patera flanked by flowering plants in cross-banded borders on ball feet, the sides and rear panels with burr-yew panels within harewood, the silver handle marked by the maker Joseph Taylor 1826, the handle escutcheon engraved 'S. FAIRFAX'
