One with the mark of Hendrik Willem van Giffen, Groningen, 1793/94; the second with the mark of Albertus Kijff Sicman, Groningen, 1853
The first oval, applied with S-scroll handles capped by dragon heads, decorated overall with rocailles, medallions and waves, the medallions engraved H:H and 1815, marked on base and inside rim; the second oval, on vaulted foot, with similar gadrooned bowl, with bipartite ropework handles joined by an oval stretcher, the outside engraved: J.T.W. 1854 D.E.W, marked on foot and rim
