From the Majalis al-'Ushshaq, gouache heightened with gold on paper, figures in brightly coloured robes look on as a golden fire rages in a landscape, with 4ll. of elegant nasta'liq on gold sprinkled ground above, and a further 2ll. in two columns below, laid down within gold and polychrome rules and minor borders with floral illumination on wide blue cards with gold illuminated flora and fauna, backed with card, mounted, glazed and framed
