With short curved single-edged European blade, one side gold overlaid crest of Awadh and two lined inscription in nasta'liq, the silver hilt of typical tulwar form with traces of gilding inlaid with polychrome enamel design of scrolling floral motifs with interspersed avian forms set inside thin blue striped border, minor losses to the enamel
