PROBABLY BUKHARA, UZBEKISTAN, CIRCA 1900
Rising from trumpet foot through ovoid faceted body with flat sides through raised shoulder and thin neck with pronounced ring to flaring mouth with hinged double-domed lid, the curved faceted spout and handle with palmette terminals, the surface engraved with scrolling floral designs inset with black composition and decorated with bands of inset turquoise, the flat sides of the body with inset hardstones surrounded by inset turquoises in floral pattern, underneath of foot marked with serial number containing letters in Cyrillic
