Gouache heightened with gold on paper, a young princess lying on a bed waited on by two maidservants looks up as her lover, clad in white, enters through the arched doorway, beyond them further rooms and buildings of the palace enclosure, within geometric minor borders on maroon margins, colours somewhat faded, framed and glazed
