Opaque pigments and gold on paper, the lord seated on a low throne-like chair with cusped back, his legs held by a yogi band, holding a bottle and a cup which he raises to his mouth, the lady standing behind him a carrying a fly-whisk, a tall pavilion and a walled garden with a pool with fish behind, laid down on gold-speckled margins between brown borders with gilt floral scrollwork, mounted, framed and glazed, the reverse with later added pencil notes, one reading "Bijaysingh, flaking and rubbing to the upper right hand side
