The leather straps covered with red velvet and silver and gilt copper mounts, each carved with fine floral motifs, the crownpiece with feather holder, the cheekpieces with bosses, a frentera with a large medallion carved with a peacock fanning its tail, the nose band with panel with confronted peacocks, with silver bells attached in places, with another unidentified trapping with similar decoration
