UDAIPUR, INDIA, DATED FEBRUARY 1865 ON REVERSE
Opaque pigments and gold on paper, the ruler riding a prancing stallion and surrounded by his retinue, two attendants with chowris and another with a ceremonial fan, with red borders, the reverse inscribed in devanagari script, with transcription in Latin script and English inscription reading "Kishore Singh: Surat Kotah Bora Maharaj Kumar ki Kishore Singh presented by artist in Mahabudidoz (?) the month of February 1865, Udaipur School of Painting", with old numbers, in large wooden frame, very minor flaking, otherwise in good condition
