Of rectangular form, the two front doors opening to reveal a compartimented inner of nine drawers, the ivory and two-colour wood veneered decoration in a cubic trompe-l'oeil pattern on top, sides and front, each lozenge panel maintained with a brass pin, with simple lock, old repairs, the top probably extended, probably originally a fall-front cabinet
