Large folding engraved map of Rajast'han hand-coloured in outline, 46 engraved plates (of which 4 folding), 3 lithographic plates (one folding, two on india), and 3 letterpress tables (2 of which folding). (Lacking the errata leaf sometimes found at end of vol. I, map with very short splits at crease folds, some variable spotting to vol. I more heavily affecting frontispiece, title and pp.180-190 and associated plate, light offsetting to frontispiece and title in vol. II.) Modern quarter calf over cloth covered boards (extremities fractionally rubbed).
