A group of seven Islamic rings
Comprising: a silver ring the bezel with circular cornelian intaglio, engraved in naskh script, Al-'Abd malik 'Ali, the shoulders with engraved foliate decoration the reverse bezel with a garnet boss to the base of the hoop, the bezel reverse with engraved lozenge-shaped motif, probably Safavid 17th century; another with octagonal cornelian bezel engraved in Nasta'liq script the name of Ali Jan Khalif Abdula and date AH 1122 (1710-1711 AD) to a silver-gilt hoop, probably Safavid period; another with rectangular applied gold bezel with raised Naskh script La ilha illa Allah, Muhammad Rasul Allah ('There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Prophet'); a bronze ring with engraved rectangular bezel in Kufic script, possibly 17th/18th century; a gold ring the rectangular bezel with vacant cartouche and the shoulders with raised knot design decoration, possibly 18th/19th century; a silver ring set with an oval cornelian engraved with a bird; and a bronze ring
