Comprising: one with octagonal bezel with glazed sepia painted scene on ivory depicting a funerary pedestal monument with applied initials A.L.S. beneath, surmounted by twin hearts within coiled serpent, beneath a gilt and applied hair drawn canopy and above the legend OUDERLIEVEDE (Old Dutch for 'parental love'), the reverse engraved Thomas Craufurd of Craufurdburn, b, feby, 1631, d15 oct, 1695, Jean Maxwell, m. 14 Oct. 1651, d. 11. June 1659, Jean Temple m, 5 Aug, 1661, d 20th Dec. 1682 to foliate shoulders, circa 1790, finger size R; another with rectangular cut-cornered glazed bezel enclosing an applied gold and white enamel urn on pedestal with the legend SOUVENIR D'AMITIE, against a dark blue enamel ground, circa 1790, finger size S½; another with oval glazed bezel containing a sepia miniature on ivory depicting a funerary urn with the initials M.H. beneath a weeping willow tree, the black enamel bezel with engraved inscription MARY HERNE: OB. 30 NOV, 1791, AE, 55YS, finger size K; another with oval glazed bezel with sepia miniature on ivory depicting a mourner standing beside a sepulchral monument with the legend NOT LOST BUT GONE BEFORE, to a tapering hoop, the reverse engraved J Hooper Ob, 24th July, 1793, AE64, finger size O½; the last with rectangular bezel with plaited hair and applied pierced monogram PB, to a pierced tapering hoop, circa 1790, finger size T (5)
