ATTRIBUTED TO HENRI PICARD, PARIS, THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY
Each with a central bowl surrounded with a scroll-work frieze and terminating in a berried finial, supported by three mask-headed legs running to paw feet, on a beveled campan rubané marble base, the reverse of the bronzes variously numbered

Lot Essay

A single jardinière with a further tassel-form stretcher, was sold Christie's, New York, 21-22 October 2010, lot 473 ($56,250). A pair of unattributed atheniennes of similar design was offered M&N Uzal: 19th Century Excellence, Sotheby's, London, 28 October 2009, lot 52.
