2 parts in one volume, 2o (351 x 233 mm). Printed in red and black, engraved title and 5 engraved plates by Nicolas Regnesson (1622?-1670), woodcut initials and music. Mid-18th century red morocco elaborately gilt, added central coat-of-arms of Paul-Thérèse-David d'Astros surmounted by a cardinal's hat (Olivier 1509, fer 4, citing this volume) within wide border of a leaf-spray and floral tools, and a leaf and floral roll tool, spine in 7 compartments, green morocco gilt lettered label in second, others filled with dots and stars and a central poppy tool, gilt edges, silk index tabs. (Some minor repairs). Provenance: Paul-Thérèse-David d'Astros (1772-1851), Archbishop of Toulouse (arms on sides); Library Nourry (Paris, catalogue Dec 1923, no. 888); Hans Fürstenberg (bookplate and pencil note CF 523); Otto Schäfer (his sale Sotheby's London, Dec 8, 1995 lot 424).
