Hammered from a single sheet, with protective cheekpieces and curving flange at back, decorated with two prominent and four shallower raised parallel ridges over the crown, a horizontal ridge across the brow, the border with raised ridge and studs around the perimeter, pierced at the corner of each cheekpiece, a pin at centre front and a ring on centre back for attachment of a crest
