The flaring arms terminating in projecting knobs at each tapering end, each with central stud, the upper arm inscribed with an A within a circle, then NH, the left arm with KH, the right TAC, centre with flared four-armed cross with central roundel depicting a robed, bearded male
Please note that the size of this cross should read 21½ in. (54 cm.) high.

The Greek inscription, 'NHKHTAC', represents the name of Nikitas, the name of several Byzantine period saints. This presumably was the dedication of the church in which this cross was housed.
