The large oval bezel projecting beyond the hoop, engraved with a draped female figure standing slightly turned to the right, with weight on left leg, right leg bent at the knee, wearing long chiton and himation draped over her right arm with hand on hip underneath, her left arm held in front holding a wreath, on groundline
Bezel 7/8 in. (2.3 cm.) wide; ring size L

Private collection, Germany; acquired 1960-1981, and thence by descent to the present owner.
