Each oblong on spreading rectangular base, chased with gadrooning, the body with mid-band and two tied reeded handles issuing from lions' heads, the gadrooned rims with shells and acanthus corner decoration, the stepped covers with gadrooning surmounted by heraldic crest griffin finial, engraved on each side with a coat-of-arms within ermine mantling, marked on bases, covers and under finials
8½in. (21.2 cm.) long over handles; 77 oz. 10 dwt. (2,416 gr.)
