Lot Essay
U.S. 60 x 40 inch posters were produced on heavy stock paper to be displayed outside at drive-in cinemas. They were produced in much fewer numbers than U.S. one-sheets and, as they were displayed outside and exposed to the elements, few have survived.
This poster is one of only three copies known to exist. Another copy was sold at Christie's, New York, on 16th June 2005, Lot 56.
