A WHITE JADE HANGING VASE AND COVER
19TH CENTURY
The vase is of baluster shape, decorated in relief around the body with a central band of taotie masks between bands of archaic designs. The handles are in the form of lingzhi either side of the domed cover with conforming handles suspending loose-rings surrounding a dragon finial. The vase is suspended from a twisted handle connected by loose rings. The stone of an even white tone.
The vase, 6¾ in. (17.1 cm.) high. Overall height, including wood stand, 16¼ in. (41 cm.)
