The pear-shaped vase has a central revolving globular section with four openwork dragon panels highlighted in gilt reserved on floral grounds. The neck and foot with further flowers between bands of ruyi and lappets, all on turquoise grounds

There is an almost identical example of a revolving cloisonne vase in The Palace Museum, Beijing, illustrated in The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum, 43, Metal-Bodied Enamel Ware, Hong Kong, 2002, p. 169, no. 161.
