A LARGE GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF AVALOKITESVARA
17TH CENTURY
The figure is cast seated in dhyanasana on a detachable lotus base with hands in abhayamudra. She wears long flowing robes, an elaborate beaded necklace, earrings and a tall pierced tiara with five leaves, each enclosing a small figure of Buddha.
