A GILT-SPLASHED BRONZE TRIPOD CENSER
17TH/18TH CENTURY
The censer is of cylindrical form standing on three cabriole feet. It is decorated with irregular gilt splashes and cast in relief with bands of three bow strings to the mouth rim, around the body and to the foot rim. The base is cast with an apocryphal Xuande mark.
5 in. (12.6 cm.) diam.
