Compare with a similar pair of vases with ormulu mounts with crown C marks dated to 1745, in The Wallace Collection, Manchester Square, London. One of the pair is illustrated by Soame Jenyns in, Later Chinese Porcelain, London, 1971, pl. XCVI.
