Full plate mechanical movement, Earnshaw-type spring detent escapement, bimetallic balance with compensation weights, finely pierced and engraved balance cock and foot, gold cuvette, whtie enamel dial, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, large circular case, engraved initials AB and 1819 to the back, case and cuvette stamped with casemaker's initials TW for Thomas Walker II and London date letter for 1816, dial and movement signed and numbered
