Three-quarter plate jewelled keyless detached lever movement, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, gold cuvette, circular plain case, the front engraved with a bull's head and the banner Turst Winneth Troth, the inside of the front engraved In Memory of Gilbert, Third Baron Donnington, 31 May 1927, the back engraved Presented By Lady Donnington To W. Thompson, case and cuvette numbered and stamped with casemaker's mark ML, inside back stamped with London date letter for 1887, dial numbered, movement signed and numbered
