Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial and raised gold indexes in 1946 and its subsequent sale on 15 July 1948. Furthermore delivered with copy of Patek Philippe of servicing invoice dated 2 May 2012.

Consigned by a private collector, the present watch has never been offered at auction before.

Reference 1292 was in production from 1943 until the mid 1950s and made in different case versions.
