Cal. 8 3/4’’’ automatic lever movement, 16 jewels, silvered matte dial, applied gold dagger numerals, diamond-set indexes to 3, 9 and 12 o’clock, subsidiary seconds, square case, stepped bezel, snap on back, gilt Rolex buckle, case, dial and movement signed 28 mm. wide

With Rolex period green presentation box.

Reference 4643 was launched in the mid-1940s and remained in production until the early 1950s. Available in yellow or pink gold only, examples with diamond-set indexes, such as the present watch, are exceedingly rare. Its rarity is further enhanced by the very good and original overall condition, still retaining the remnants of a retailer's label to the back.
