CK2042, MOVEMENT NO. 8’819’307, CASE NO. 9’532’163, MANUFACTURED IN 1938 Cal. 26.5 SOB T2 mechanical movement, 15 jewels, black dial, luminous Arabic numerals, luminous hands, subsidiary seconds, large circular case with rotating bezel with engraved red 12 hours calibration to the inner ring, extended downturned lugs, snap on back, case, dial and movement signed 40 mm. diam.

According to the Archives of Montres Omega, the present watch was manufactured in 1938.

For a black and white archive image of a similar watch see Armbanduhren - 100 Jahre Entwicklungsgeschichte by Kahlert, Mhe, Brunner, fifth edition, p. 495.

In 2001, Omega launched the "Omega Museum Collection Pilot's Watch", inspired by the present model.
