FIRST EDITION, IN THE ORIGINAL BOARDS, of this rare series of humorous scenes. While Adam's album of Napoleonic scenes (Munich 1827) is well-represented at auction, ABPC records just one copy of the present work at auction in over 35 years (Sotheby's, 31 March 1980, lot 191).
