A reissue along the lines of Alken's Fashion and Folly or the Buck's Pilgrimage (London, 1822), with plates from other sources including Alken's A Touch of the Fine Arts. Although the plates are unsigned, Heath's name appears on a door in plate 4. 'His social satires, especially those on extremes of fashion, were amusing; and his style was bold and attractive' (ODNB). cf. Abbey Life 487.
