EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED WITH THREE DRAWINGS and a clipped signature. The plates first appeared in the Gentleman's Pocket Magazine in 1827 and 1829; the rare first separate edition first appeared in 1829. The original copper-plates, and coloured impressions, surfaced in 1906 at the Truman sale; sets were then made-up, as here, with a title and completed as necessary; the present set includes at least four modern impressions. Cohn 182.
