Lot Essay

See Janos Stekovics, Reliefintarsien Aus Eger, 1999. The maker of these panels is not known but described as "Meister mit dem ornamentierten Hintergrund". His work dates to circa 1650-70 and are based on contemporary prints. This lot are based on 'The prodigal Son' prints by Abraham Bosse
