Woven in silks and wools, depicting the Crucifixion of Christ, flanked by the Virgin Mary, in a wooded landscape with flowers in the foreground and a city beyond, to the lower left a text scroll inscribed 'natio ouen nñu ihs 22'(?), within a red and blue guard border replaced to top and bottom, areas of restoration and reweaving including a horizontal section of circa 6 in. (15 cm.) along the botom edge of field
