The overhanging rectangular cornice above three sections with eighteen oak and ash-lined drawers divided by reeded mouldings, the base with a pair of central panelled doors enclosing two shelves flanked on each side by three further drawers, on a plinth base, the upper section with brass handles to sides, locks stamped 'PATENT' beneath a crown, metalwork original
