Modelled in the form of a drum, the body black and gold mokume togidashi-e and the ends and three bracket feet gold lacquer decorated in hiramaki-e with foliate scroll, studded with silver bosses and fitted with a domed silver cover pierced with an open fan and foliage, interior lined in metal
