Lot Essay

Andre Bucher was a French designer and jeweler who exhibited in the Paris salons in the first decade of the twentieth century. Related cane handles from 1908 are illustrated in A. Duncan, The Paris Salons 1895-1914 Jewellery I, Suffolk, 1994, p.132.
