Tasting note: Fairly deep; multi-part fragrance, earthy, root-like, rustic with slightly hard edge, then vegetal, whiff of tar, rich, spicy, opened up and held well for 2 hours in the glass; mouthfilling, complete, very good flavour, lean, firm, good length, touch of austerity, tannin and crisp acidity.
