THREE ARCHAIC JADE PENDANTS
WARRING STATES PERIOD (480-221BC) AND LATER
The first is carved as a bird with fan-shaped tail, the greyish-celadon and dark brown stone with striations; a recumbent horned mythical beast with bifurcated tail, its backbone and ribs finely detailed, the celadon and dark brown stone with areas of calcification; a flattened cylindical bead is carved with an abstract design with channels and raised nodes, the pale celadon stone with russet and cloudy inclusions.
