WANLI SIX CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1573-1619)
The dish is decorated to the interior with a central medallion enclosing two equestrian warriors battling beneath a pine tree, the cavetto painted with flowers and rockwork within four shaped cartouches reserved on a diaper ground, the exterior with various flower sprays including peach and peony.
