A NEAR PAIR OF CORAL-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE BALUSTER VASES
REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-49)
Each vase is decorated to the exterior with shaped panels enclosing Immortals attended by boys in various garden settings with flowers, rocks and pine trees, all in reserve on a coral ground embellished in gilt with medalions of geometric motifs, lappet bands encircle the feet, the base glazed white with an apocryphal iron-red six-character Qianlong seal mark.
