QIANLONG UNDERGLAZE BLUE SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-95)
The bowl is decorated to the exterior with the Eight Immortals in underglaze blue reserved on a ground of copper-red stylised foaming- waves, the interior is painted with a central medallion enclosing Shoulao standing beside his deer reserved on a similar ground, a band of key-fret scroll encircles the foot.
8 7/8 in. (22.5 cm.) diam.
